Maple Oatmeal Bread


Makes 2 loaves

3c. Warm water
1 TBSP instant yeast
3 TBSP sugar
3 TBSP flour

Dissolve together and let sit for 5 min.

1c. cream
1 egg
2/3 c. oil
1/3 c. maple syrup
1 TBSP sea salt
1 c. uncooked quick oats

Whisk together and add to yeast mixture.

Add flour (60/40 white to WW) until a soft and sticky dough forms. (will stick to sides of bowl)

Let sit for 10 min.  Grease your loaf pans with crisco or pam.

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface.  Knead and form into loaves.  Place in pans and put in a cold oven.  Turn on the oven to 170F with door open until risen to top of pan.  Remove loaves and Reheat the oven to 350F.  Bake until golden and hallow when tapped on top.
